The Robert Craft Igor Stravinsky Foundation is devoted to several core initiatives to continue and build upon the work of Robert Craft both in connection to his historic relationship with Igor Stravinsky and his significant personal contributions to the arts. The Foundation will support the transfer of the archives and artifacts by the Estate of Robert Craft to a cultural or educational institution and generate programming and scholarship around the collection. It will support publications and documentary films about Robert and his relationship with Igor Stravinsky. Finally, it will begin the long-term initiative to commission a corrected edition to Stravinsky’s musical oeuvre, which Robert noted had been published with numerous errors. It will more broadly be open to supporting the arts in all forms to which Robert devoted his life and intellect in any ways that will effectively extend his legacy.
